Our Fleet Captain and crew will be handling docking assignments. Please contact Joe for your docking instructions on Channel 71 after you round the Seaport’s lighthouse.
After you are safely tied up, proceed to the Fleet Captain's boat to get your arrival packet with instructions and those sought-after Baldwin Bucks! Make sure to turn in those Bucks to the Dockmaster to get your discount.
The Dock Office is located on the Village Green near the South Entrance.
This will be almost Baldwin’s 50th Commissioning weekend at Mystic Seaport. We have many activities planned and welcome all of you to invite guests and encourage prospective members to attend. If you, or your boat, is not ready to make the voyage; no problem, come by car!.
New this year. All dockage registrations, without exception, need to be made on https://dockwa.com/. Make sure to include that you are with Baldwin. All associated discounts (stay Friday and Saturday, Sunday night is free; new Baldwin members stay for free) will be applied at check-in with the dockmaster upon your arrival.
Dockage Fees / Incentives:
· Dockage is $4.50 per foot or $3.25 for Mariner Seaport Member Level ($179 per year) or higher. If you are interested in becoming a Seaport member renewing or increasing your membership level visit: https://www.mysticseaport.org/join
· If you stay Friday and Saturday night, Sunday night is free. Sunday night credited upon check-in with Seaport dockmaster (a Baldwin exclusive)
· New members get 3 nights of free dockage. Credited upon check-in with Seaport dockmaster who will have a list of our Baldwin new members (a Baldwin exclusive)
· 1st 20 members to register online for the commissioning will receive $25.00 in “Baldwin Bucks” to apply to their weekend’s dockage fees.
The weekend’s itinerary is shaping up as follows:
Friday, May 25th
5:30 p.m. Roving cocktails and hors d’oeuvres (on the dock).
No dogs allowed on the dock during the event.
Saturday, May 26th
8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. YOGA with Sue on the lawn.
9:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Coast Guard Auxiliary Safety Inspections
10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Behind the scenes tour of the Seaport.
1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Dyer Dingy Races (click on link to register)
6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Cocktails at the Boat Shed, Cash Bar, bring you own appetizers.
Sunday, May 27th
8:30 a.m. Traditional Baldwin Pancake Breakfast in Shed (suggested donation $4)
10:30 a.m. Dress Ship Review / Judging
1:00 p.m. Commissioning Parade
1:30 – 2:30 p.m. Commissioning Meeting (Greenmanville Church or Boat shed TBD)
5:30 – 7:00 p.m. Commissioning Buffet Dinner in the River Room at Latitudes Restaurant $45.00 per person.& Cash Bar.
