Baldwin Yacht Club |
Thank you for your interest in the Baldwin Yacht Club! |
Established in 1948 in Old Saybrook, Connecticut, the Baldwin Yacht Club provides a safe, fun cruising and casual racing experience for active boaters. The club is named after an early member, Senator and Governor Raymond Baldwin of Connecticut. We have a variety of member moorings for boats not over 50 feet LOA and a full event calendar that includes dozens of ports in the eastern Long Island Sound region, and extending eastward to Nantucket and Cape Cod. We do not maintain a clubhouse facility. We have over 200 members from New England and as far as Arizona, the Carolina’s and Florida and each plays an important role event planning and coordination, administration, and management of the club. To ensure everyone gets acquainted quickly, all new members are expected to serve two years on the Social Committee and to port host an event during their first two years of full membership. | Some BYC Mooring Locations |
