Spring Dinner and Dance

The Baldwin Yacht Club Spring Dance will take place on Saturday, April 21th at the Coast Guard Academy Officers’ Club in New London.
The evening will begin at with a cocktail party, a cash bar, a great selection of hors d’oeuvres, and plenty of time to catch up with friends after the long winter. The club was founded with purpose “to further the pleasure and cause good fellowship in yachting”! Please don’t miss this event, it is something to look forward to!
The short business portion of the evening starts at 6:30 p.m. with a formal induction of our newest club members and presentation of the annual Perpetual Awards. Dinner is at 7 p.m. followed by dancing. Get ready to kick up your heels on the dance floor to the tunes of a great band, Aftershock.
Dinner will start with a Greek salad followed by a choice of Grilled Ribeye Steak with mild mushroom demi-glace, Chicken Piccata – with lemon and capers, or Grilled Tuna with charred corn and watermelon salsa. All entrees are served with olive oil and rosemary oven roasted potatoes, vegetables, rolls, dessert, coffee and tea. Vegetarian, gluten free and special dietary restrictions available upon request.
Recommended attire is jacket and tie (or suit) for men and elegant dress for the women. Do not forget your BYC nametag, and your dancing shoes! Prospective members and guests are welcome.
Remember that EVERY person needs to bring a Photo ID with them. The Coast Guard Academy reserves the right to ask all vehicle passengers for ID too!
